Saturday is the night out: more than three times as many events as on Monday. Across the week, most things start at 7 pm.

Music belongs to the evening. Most concerts start at 8 pm, only one in eleven before noon.

Markets are a Saturday morning: three in four open before noon, one in three on a Saturday.

Nightlife is almost only the weekend. Four in five parties are on a Friday or Saturday, and nearly half start at 9 pm or later.

Now it's your turn: pick another category above the chart, from theatre to sport, and see when Austria makes time for it.

When people look

Event page views by days before the start, as a share of all views before the event.

58% of views before an event come two to eight weeks ahead. Those who look tend to plan well ahead.

The shares also reflect which buttons exist: a market without ticket sales gets no ticket clicks. Page views have been counted since mid-October 2026, website clicks since the summer. Values under 20 are left out.
